In looking for the ideal face cleaner, we have to first of all make sure that it is oil, alcohol and fragrance free. First, you may need to avoid the face cleaning tools which can do the job of exfoliating the skin. Maybe the gentle face cloth would be the best for that type of skin. It may also remove some of your skin's essential oils and that is even worse because it leaves it open to all sorts of attacks from the elements. So, what do you look for in a face cleaner.

There are various types of face cloths, mesh sponges and a type of face brush, not dissimilar to the electric toothbrush. But you have to choose carefully which one is best for your skin type. It should be paraben and phthalate free. After all, a harsh soap disguised as a facial cleaner can leave the skin feeling dry, tight and painful and that is no joke. You would not use any of these on dry sensitive skin. Well, I look for something that is going to lift off dirt and grime after a long hard day and leave the rest of my face intact.

Now that is what I call a useless cleanser.
