Brownian motion is the random movement of particles suspended in a liquid or gas or the mathematical model used to describe such random movements, often called a particle theory. The predicted motion corresponded precisely with the puzzling Brownian motion. However it was Einstein in a paper submitted in 1905 that first brought the solution to the attention of physicists.
