What makes it even harder is the impression that EVERYBODY is doing it, and the fact that there is a hit show about a successful plastic surgeon that. If you are thinking that there is absolutely no other way to firm sagging skin without surgery, I can totally understand why you might feel this way. Voluntary cosmetic surgery is "hot" right now. This isn't true when it comes to cosmetic procedures, as a person's aversion to placing themselves "under the knife" abates considerably if they think it will improve the way that they look. When it comes to having some sort of surgical procedure most people have got to be in serious danger, or hurting so bad that it is interfering with their lives. I think most people have grown a little weary of trying and failing with one over the counter cosmetic after another, with seemingly no end to the disappointment anywhere in sight. It is difficult to convince people that it is possible to firm sagging skin without surgery, especially after their experiences with topical cosmetics. Frustration can sometimes make people do things they wouldn't ordinarily do. |
