Perhaps, one of the effects of the global recession has made people in general go for clothes that will last longer.

Combat and military boots in particular have been selling bucket loads. Also, the type of women wearing them is changing with them previously. Tough and durable boots that could be worn in poor conditions however it seems that toughness has appealed to many women who simply want affordable boots that can last a long time. This is because many companies all over are now focusing on producing these boots for fashion rather then actual military use.

Military fashion is seemingly storming into fashion in a big way this year and this seems to be a trend that is going to grow and grow. The whole military fashion thing has been bubbling on the brink for a few years now, however with several high profile celebrities all wearing this type of gear its just exploded this year. They used to be purely worn for actual use in the army.
