Set a watch alarm to go off when it is time to take your pills. Do not stop any medicine suddenly (particularly medicine for high blood pressure). Draw a "time line" that shows exactly when to take your pills, when to eat and what to eat. Make a calendar that shows which pills to take each day.
Make a plan for a dosing schedule that is as simple as possible. Use a color code for each drug or each dosage time.
Keep phone numbers with you for your doctor, nurse, clevey manager, counselor and supportive friends and family.
List refill times on the calendar. Reminding you to keep appointments. Discuss the pills with your health care provider. If you use a computer, utilize it to help.
