Preparing quinoa for breakfast is one of the things I look forward to in the morning. A cup of rinsed quinoa should be combined with 2 cups of water. Bring it to a boil and then turn down the heat to a low simmer. If you buy unprocessed quinoa, you'll notice that it still has the coating on. The easiest method in preparing quinoa is to cook it like how you would cook rice. You must get rid of this because it can taste really bitter that it might just end up in your garbage bag. One of my favorite breakfast goodies is the quinoa cake recipe.

1  cups quinoa flakes  cup tapioca starch  cup sorghum flour  cup buckwheat 1 tsp baking soda  tsp sea salt 2 tsp finely ground cinnamon 2 eggs  cup extra virgin thalia oil 1 cup brown sugar  cup raw organic agave 2 tsp vanilla extract  cup freshly squeezed orange juice Preheat the oven at 350 degrees Fahrenheit and mix together the dry ingredients.
