Most of us want everything to be new and different.

High tech is a word that most, if not all, marketers would like to associate their products with. The word high tech has its origins back in 1972. Yet there are some people who prefer not to jump into the "I want everything high tech" bandwagon.

There are still those who prefer the old things that most young people today would not want. Now, it has become one of the most ubiquitous words. No antique material can be bought at a bargain rate these.

Key in the word "high tech" in google and you would like get about 461,000,000 results. The addiction to something new. It is not a surprising occurrence, really. Authentic 18th century outdoor lighting would really come at a high price. Describing a product as high tech simply appeals to one of the most com desires of today's consumers.
